The Bach Sport team is playing floorball!

On June 13th in the sports hall Secondary School Complex No. 5 in Gliwice took place 1st Gliwice Floorball Championship organized by Children’s Home No. 3 in Gliwice. 12 teams took part in the competition, including the team Children’s Sports 🙂 For our players, participating in the Championships was the beginning of their floorball adventure, but we still decided to fight and give it our all.

In the match for first place in our group, we played against the Fluor SA team. After regular time, the scoreboard showed a 3-3 draw, so the winner of the match had to be determined by penalty kicks, in which our opponent proved more effective.

The loss to Fluor meant that we had to face the Group II winners, Aniołki Kija, in the quarterfinals. They are seven-time winners of the Polish Orphanage Floorball Championship. The match against the champions proved to be very close, but once again we were forced to concede the superiority of our opponent, losing 2-1.

The Gliwice championship was ultimately won by the Angels, who defeated Fluor 2-1 in the final. So, the teams we lost to after a fierce competition turned out to be the two best teams. It’s a small consolation for us that, despite our lack of experience, we were able to play against the best at a pretty good level.
