Table tennis stars in Warsaw

Competition among the youngest, a confrontation between the best table tennis players among firefighters, numerous demonstrations of ping-pong tricks combined with performances by Polish, world and European champions – these are just some of the attractions that will take place during the 2nd edition. Grubba Polish Champions – Table Tennis Champions Tournament, which will take place on May 15-17 in Warsaw. Competition among the youngest, a confrontation between the best table tennis players among firefighters, numerous demonstrations of ping-pong tricks combined with performances by Polish, world and European champions – these are just some of the attractions that will take place during the 2nd edition. Grubba Polish Champions – Table Tennis Champions Tournament, which will take place on May 15-17 in Warsaw. The upcoming edition will feature three days full of sporting attractions at Warsaw’s Blue City Shopping Center. Exhibition tournaments and prize competitions are planned for all table tennis enthusiasts. On Friday, May 15th, starting at 11:00 AM, the Table Tennis Schools Tournament will be held, selecting two players for Sunday’s match, a prelude to the Tournament of Champions. On Saturday afternoon, the best table tennis players among firefighters will be keeping the fires burning, while starting at 5:00 PM, players from the Rising Białystok Superliga will showcase their skills..  

The highlight of the entire event will be the Tournament of Champions on Sunday, featuring Jean-Michel Saive, defending champion from last year, Joergen Persson, Lucjan Błaszczyk, and Daniel Górak. The central Blue City venue will be surrounded by spectator stands, allowing everyone to observe the world-class players up close. Before the ping-pong stars begin their competition, they will share their sporting experience at 11:00 AM as part of the Table Tennis Clinic for Children. Admission is free for everyone.

Upcoming 2nd edition Grubba Polish Champions – Tournament of Champions It will last three days and promises to be a true celebration of table tennis in Poland. It’s a unique way to commemorate Andrzej Grubba, an outstanding table tennis player and role model for many younger players. It’s the only sporting event of its kind that combines professional sport with artistic performances and attractions for all fans. The event will be broadcast live from the Blue City Shopping Center in Warsaw from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM exclusively on the Sportklub channel.
