This special day in the calendar of ping pong fans has begun Table Tennis Academy Tournament, in which 8 teams participated. Young aspirants were delegated to Warsaw by 6 clubs, including our representative – Cornilleau Table Tennis Academy.
After the youth winners were announced, it was time for the main attraction of the day – the Tournament of Champions. Before 3 p.m., the youth participants arrived at the Warsaw University of Technology building. Kalinikos Kreanga, Lucjan Blaszczyk, Jean-Michael Saive and Jörg Rosskopf. The evening’s main stars were eagerly awaited by fans, posing for photos, signing autographs, and giving interviews. Lucjan Błaszczyk won the first semifinal, facing Kalinikos Kreanga. The second semifinal was a rematch of the 1992 European Championship final, pitting Jörg Roßkopf against Jean-Michael Saive. Both players combined their excellent sportsmanship with a generous dose of humor and unconventional moves. The players’ performance was met with thunderous applause from the spectators in attendance. Saive emerged victorious, avenging his defeat in the final 24 years earlier.

The finalists put on a phenomenal show and captivated the audience. Saive led from the start, but Błaszczyk recovered in the final moments to win, and the final ended with the dethronement of the winner of the two previous editions. Grubba Polish Champions.
Third edition Grubba Polish Champions It provided top-tier sporting excitement and plenty of fun, and the turnout in the Warsaw University of Technology auditorium was proof of just how many table tennis fans there are in Poland. The players’ competition also attracted a large audience watching on television.

This was the second time that together with the brand Cornilleau We were able to support this initiative as one of the partners, primarily by providing gaming tables and accessories. We are delighted that year after year, events under the patronage of Super League are organised on a much larger scale, which also translates into interest in the events and a growing number of participants.
