Ping-Pong New World 2016

On the last weekend of September and the first weekend of October 2016, table tennis enthusiasts appeared at Nowy Świat in Warsaw to have fun during another edition of the outdoor event “Ping-Pong New World”. The main goal of the campaign was to promote the Olympic discipline and reactivate the tradition of amateur table tennis.

On the last weekend of September and the first weekend of October 2016, table tennis enthusiasts appeared at Nowy Świat in Warsaw to have fun during another edition of the outdoor event “Ping-Pong New World”. The main goal of the campaign was to promote the Olympic discipline and reactivate the tradition of amateur table tennis.

The 4-day event was attended by several thousand passersby, dozens of tennis players from sports clubs, and undisputed table tennis champions. During the event, everyone had the opportunity to compete in a game with Lucjan Błaszczyk – the most successful Polish ping-pong player of the 21st century, Daniel Górak – representative of the national and Olympic men’s table tennis team, Natalia Partyka and Patryk Chojnowski – medalists of this year’s Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Fierce competition took place at 10 ping-pong tables of the brand Cornilleau, and they were delivered along with the necessary accessories for the game by the company Children’s Sports, as a technical sponsor Polish Table Tennis League and the distributor and exclusive representative of the brand Cornilleau in Poland.

We hope that next year we will meet for the 4th time at Nowy Świat at the ping-pong tables. And today we invite everyone – regardless of age, gender and physical condition – to play recreational table tennis!
