For the second time in the hall at ul. Sikorski in Sośnica, a charity tournament for kids from Orphanage No. 2 in Gliwice was held on a grand scale. Exactly the same as last year, the entire entry fee of the teams that took part in these noble games were donated to organize holidays for the pupils of the above-mentioned outposts.

For the money collected Last year, the kids spent a month in Górskie Szaflary between Zakopane and Nowy Targ. This year the plan was a bit different: we are sending young people to the seaside.

On Children’s Day was played knockout stage. Whole families with children came to the hall from the morning, because In addition to sports games, the organizers have prepared attractions designed especially for kids. On Saturday, there was also a group of specially invited guests from Andrzej Szarmach at the head.

Before the decisive match, a surprise match was played in which The pupils of the Orphanage No. 2 in Gliwice faced the captains of all teams participating in the tournament. After a one-sided duel, the kids turned out to be better, scoring 9 goals, and losing only 3. The competition was made difficult by the Gliwice equivalent of Roman Kosecki – Jerzy Wojewódzki, who invaded the pitch, snatching one of the referees earlier The whistle then dictated the penalty from the hat.

The grand final was played punctually at 3 p.m. Rowibau and Etisoft took part in the battle. The beginning of the meeting is the mutual “sniffing” of both opponents, which ended with a goalless first half. The first minutes of the second part of the game indicated that we would have to wait until the penalty for the final decision. However, just before the end of the match, last year’s champions got to work and they quickly scored 2 goals, thanks to which they could celebrate the defended title.

After the final match, the gadgets were drawn among the fans who took part in the lottery during the tournament. Then there was the award ceremony and the selection of the best players of the tournament.
