Bacha Sport at the Millennium Beach Soccer Cup 2011

Holidays have just begun, and one of the typical summer and summer events is behind us – Milenium Beach Soccer Cup 2011. It was the third edition of the tournament in which beach soccer teams are struggling.

The holidays have just begun, and one of the typical summer and summer events is behind us – the Milenium Beach Soccer Cup 2011. It was the third edition of the tournament in which beach soccer teams are struggling.

During the two days of the tournament for the palm of priority, 12 teams from all over Poland competed with each other, including as many as 4 teams from Silesia. The Bacha Sport company received a great honor and the pleasure of taking the patronage of this unique sports event. In addition, we funded a number of prizes participating in a raffle organized during the tournament.

The teams participating in the tournament were divided into three groups of four teams each. After two days of struggle, the team of Grembach Zgierz turned out to be the best, defeating Hotel Continental Krynica Morska in the final duel after penalties.

The winning team was played by, among others, Bogusław Saganowski and Witold Ziober. The first, in the recent club world championships, playing for Sporting Lisbon, won the runner-up. The second was in the FC Barcelona squad, but due to an injury, he could not play on the pitch.

On the pitch we could also see other Polish representatives: Jakub Skrzypc, Marcin Olejniczak, Konrad Kubiak (Grembach Zgierz), Dominik Depta, Grzegorz Musik (Copacabana Boca Gdańsk), Paweł Friszkemut, Bartłomiej Piechnik (Hotel Continental Krynica Morska) and Karol Gołębiowski (Kiepscy Sosnowiec).

We are very pleased that sports events are organized by real sports enthusiasts, which is why we are very eager to get involved in sports activities of this type. We are convinced that beach soccer is a sport that will gain more and more fans over time, and the tournament itself will become a permanent fixture in the calendar of events related to this discipline.
