Andrzej Wereszczak, whom we support in his sports development and achievement of goals, broke the Polish record in the 6-day race in May.
We are happy to announce that today (August 21, 2019) he was called up to the national team and will represent Poland at the World 24-hour Championships in Albi, France.
According to the Polish Athletics Association’s 2019 qualification rules for championship events in non-Olympic sports, to be selected for the national team, one had to complete a minimum of 193 km (women) and 224 km (men) and achieve one of the best results among Poles, as there were only six spots available in the national team. Andrzej ran 242.097 km this year at the Polish Championships in Supraśl, thus meeting the specified requirements.
We congratulate you on this achievement and keep our fingers crossed for a successful start.
